OTTAWA - Just one year from the opening match of the FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015™, fans, soccer clubs and media are invited to take part in One Year To A Greater Goal™ countdown events organized across the nation on Friday.

Celebrations will take place in five Official Host Cities: Edmonton, Montreal, Ottawa, Vancouver and Winnipeg. 

At each event, a special FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015™ One Year To A Greater Goal™ Countdown Clock will be unveiled. 

Fans are encouraged to join the conversation via @fifawwc. Fans can look for the hashtags #wwc, #Canada2015 and #GreaterGoal (or #GrandBut in French) supplemented with #OneYear (or #365jours in French). 

From Canada's national teams, Josée Bélanger will be in Montreal, Desiree Scott will be in Winnipeg, and head coach John Herdman will be in Vancouver.
