GUATEMALA CITY, Guatemala – Marco Lopez and Edwin Cubillo scored two goals each as Borussia defeated Cuba’s Habana 8-1 on Saturday at the Domo Polideportivo to reach the final of the inaugural CONCACAF Futsal Club Championship.

The duo each struck early in the semifinal to give the Costa Rican side a 2-0 lead just after five minutes played.

Borussia will meet the winner of the Glucosoral-Sidekicks encounter, which will be played later in the evening.

"We knew Habana was locked in at times,” said the skillful Cubillo, 27.  “We knew it was a very strong team that was much to the shock.  The important thing was to score first to take more confidence".
